Our story
7 p.m., in a Yaoundé neighbourhood
The lights suddenly go out. Children stop their homework, the freezer in the shop across the street stops, a workshop sends its workers home. Then the generators start up. Millions of Africans live this scene every week. It does not have to be this way.
META ENERGY was born from this observation. Led by Lisette Claudia TAME NJAMBE, the Meta Invest SA group chose not to sell panels but to sell energy: an installation that is fitted, maintained and guaranteed, which each customer pays for at their own pace.
