META ENERGY processes your personal data in accordance with Cameroonian Law No. 2024-017 on the protection of personal data. Text to be approved by META ENERGY’s legal adviser.
Data collected
When you fill in a form: name, phone, WhatsApp, email, city and neighbourhood, profile, information about your energy needs, message, and the page or campaign you came from. For a job application: your CV. For the newsletter: your email.
Purposes
- Handling your request for a study, an order, a partnership or information, and contacting you.
- Managing the customer relationship: contract, installation, monthly payments, maintenance and after-sales.
- Measuring the effectiveness of our campaigns, without identifying you, with your consent to cookies.
- Sending you our news, if you have subscribed to the newsletter (double opt-in).
Recipients
META ENERGY’s sales and technical teams, and the advisor handling your request. Your data is never sold or rented.
Retention period
Periods to be confirmed: requests not followed up, 3 years after the last contact; customers, the term of the contract then the legal periods; applications, 2 years.
Your rights
You can access your data, have it corrected or ask for it to be deleted at any time, by writing to info@metaenergy.cm or calling +237 688 800 352.
Security
Data is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS), access is restricted by role and every export is logged.
